CONFIAR P.F. Portugal is a Private Social Solidarity Institution of Public Utility, oriented by Christian values arising from the doctrine of the Catholic Church, which provides assistance to Prisoners, former Prisoners and their families. Confiar represents the Prison Fellowship International in Portugal – the largest prison volunteer association in the world, with more than 100,000 volunteers, present in about 130 countries, and is a UN consultant for matters relating to the prison system.
